I’m thrilled to share my latest presentation on Family History Worksheets! I am excited to share that I have a lot of people that want start teaching their children about family history!

🖍️ Family History Worksheets for African American Children (Ages 6–11).
These worksheets guide young learners to discover where they come from, express who they are, and connect with their family’s history in a fun, creative way.
This has been added to Chapter 3. Meet My Ancestors:
🌿 Have You Been Wondering What’s Inside?
The worksheets include:
✨ Worksheet for family tree building
🎨 Heritage flag and drawing pages
🧓🏾 Interview prompts for grandparents
📜 Storytelling
🎉 A certificate for completing the journey!
It’s all wrapped in an inclusive, warm design that speaks directly to African American children — because representation matters.
📆 Do One Chapter Each Day
The worksheets are designed to be spread out over 5 days (or more, depending on your child’s pace). Here's a suggested schedule:
Day Chapters
1. What is a Family? / Our African American Heritage
2. Meet My Ancestors / Our Family Traditions
3. Heroes in My Family
4. Story Time with Grandma and Grandpa / My Family, My Pride
5. Dreaming Forward + Add Photos + Certificate
⏳ Sessions can be short and sweet — about 20–30 minutes per day.
Let it spark conversation, storytelling, and pride in who your child is and where they come from.
🧑🏾🎓 Coming Soon: For Youth Ages 12–18
This is just the beginning! I'm currently creating companion worksheets for older youth — ages 12 to 18 — with more advanced prompts, space for deep reflection, and opportunities to preserve family legacy in powerful ways.

💌 Keep the Legacy Alive
Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, teacher, or youth leader — these worksheets are a gift of identity, pride, and belonging. I created it so our children can see themselves, honor their heritage, and write the next chapter of their family's story.
Thank you for being a part of this journey.
With love,
Robin R. Foster
